Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this wonderful 911 Turbo Cabriolet which is just one of 39 cars that came to the UK in 1988.  It has an extremely low mileage and presents beautifully in its distinctive colour combination. This is a very original and rare Porsche indeed.

The 911 Turbo Cabriolet carried Porsche’s unrivalled experience of turbocharging from the racetrack to the road. Outstanding acceleration, cornering and road holding, all reflected Porsche’s heritage. But it is the 911 Turbo’s qualities of endurance and reliability that determined its suitability for everyday use.

Its 3.3 litre air-cooled turbocharged six cylinder horizontally opposed rear mounted engine, with 300 bhp DIN at 5,500 rpm, and maximum torque 430 Nm at 4,800 rpm. As in the racing Turbos, the hot boost air is cooled on its way from the charger to the butterfly valve by an intercooler. This ensures that maximum air pressure and optimum filling of the cylinders in maintained under all circumstances. The 911 Turbo’s performance figures are very impressive, accelerating from 0-62 mph in 5.4 seconds and had a maximum speed of more than 160 mph.

Our Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet was supplied by Douglas Cameron Porsche, Perth in August 1988, and naturally comes complete with a carefully maintained Porsche history file, including previous V5 documents, handbooks and original documentation,  historic MOTs dating back to 1992, road  tax discs and the spare keys. Very few of these Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolets remain left in the UK. It remains an iconic 1980’s supercar, which continues to excite enthusiasts and collectors all over the world, and this particular Turbo Cabriolet is surely one of the finest examples to be found anywhere.
