Evoking the wonderful lines of the original iconic Type 356 Speedster, the slimline Speedster was undoubtedly the better car when compared to its Turbo-look counterpart. It was lighter and had narrow tracking, which reduced rolling resistance and made it significantly more dynamic to drive. This is one of only 161 rare narrow-bodied 3.2 Speedster cars. Just 9 right-hand drive cars were earmarked for the Australian market and 1 car for Singapore.

The 911 3.2 had a redesigned engine inlet and exhaust system, along with the fitment of a service-free Digital Engine Management ignition system (DME), in conjunction with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel metering. This resulted in a significant increase in engine performance but a significant reduction in fuel consumption, through better engine efficiency and fuel cut-off when coasting. The air-cooled 6-cylinder, horizontally opposed engine produces an output of 231 bhp, at 5,900 rpm. The G50 gearbox is an absolute pleasure to shift. This quite unique 911 Speedster looks and drives far better for its slimmer looks. Originally supplied & PDI’d by Giltrap Porsche, New Zealand for their company Chairman in June 1990, it was shipped to the UK for his use. The first service was carried out in 1992 at AFN Porsche Guildford, England. It also comes complete with all the relevant factory documentation, toolkit, spare keys and tyre pressure gauge. It is now ready to join even the most discerning car collections. This Speedster will be supplied with a comprehensive 12-month warranty.
