Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this immaculately preserved iconic ‘80s supercar finished in original period livery. At the heart of the car is a normally aspirated 2.2 litre all-alloy double overhead camshaft engine with 16 valve technology.
5-speed manual transmission, alloy wheels, metallic paint, full leather interior, electric windows, Targa roof panel
Launched at the 1975 Paris Motor Show, the Giorgietto Giugiaro design wowed the crowds and was lauded for its family inherited handling characteristics. Fast forward 12 years and the fourth generation Esprit was launched, although never given an official series designation it became known as the X180 which was the project name.
Penned by the hand of Peter Stevens, famed designer of the Mclaren F1, the X180 bought the Esprit up to date, softening the angular lines of the original car. There is an extensive history file available, with all MOT certificates present dating back to 1992. Original service book and handbook. Recently serviced with new Bilstein dampers and springs fitted along with cam belt and tensioner, this Lotus Esprit is ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
This wonderful example of Lotus history will also be supplied with a Lotus Certificate of Provenance and a 12-month comprehensive warranty package.
Available to view now at our London showrooms.
