Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer a wonderful example of the sought-after Jaguar XK 5.0 Convertible Portfolio edition, a model which has gained a firm following with Jaguar collectors.

With its normally aspirated 5,000cc engine producing 380 bhp, and a maximum torque figure of 380 lb/ft, this is a luxurious way to travel very quickly.  0-62 mph is achieved in 5.2 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph.

This is the facelift model of the Jaguar XK Convertible with re-profiled front bumpers, mirrors with integrated LED indicators, new rear valance, LED taillights and colour-coded side vents. The direct-injection 5.0-litre V8, was increased from 4.2 litres, which led to 26% and 23% boosts to power and torque. The new XK polluted less than the old 4.2 and matched it for economy but was about as quick as the old supercharged XKR! The steering is direct, retaining feel, clarity, and linearity. It is perfect for making GT-style progress that all the best Jaguars are famous for. There is also a Dynamic Mode, accessed by a chequered flag switch on the centre console. Pressing that switch tightens and tautens the suspension, readying the XK for spirited B-road progress.
