Hexagon Classics are very pleased to offer an unspoiled example of the 595 Competizione Abarth. The Abarth 595 competizione is based on the Fiat 500, sporting a turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol engine and producing 180hp. The top-of-the-range 595 competizione model is especially exciting, blending impressive performance levels with a sonorous soundtrack. Described by Abarth as ‘the natural heir of the model launched in 2009 and present worldwide’ this low-mileage example is offered in metallic black with black nero scorpion alcantara interior.

The 595 comes with the familiar turbocharged 1.4-litre T-Jet motor, but it’s the top-spec 178bhp Competizione that more sport-focused drivers will be interested in. Chiefly, because they come equipped with a mechanical limited-slip differential, as well as uprated dampers all round, a more potent braking system (Brembo), 17-inch Supersport alloy wheels and figure-hugging Sabelt leather and Alcantara seats with carbonfibre shells. Despite its small displacement, the engine sounds menacing. Below 30mph, small accelerator inputs have the 595 gurgling, popping and crackling; with the louder Record Monza exhaust fitted to Competizione versions, this is certainly not a hot hatch for those who crave anonymity. Open the door and it’s immediately obvious that you're inside an Abarth rather than a regular Fiat 500. The general interior layout mirrors the Fiat, of course, but the small detailing is pure Abarth. In the footwell you’ll find alloy ‘racing’ pedals, the steering wheel has the now-obligatory flat spot at the bottom, and you get an Abarth-specific 7.0in digital instrument cluster.

Hexagon is delighted to provide the opportunity to acquire a LHD, low mileage Fiat 595 competizione in a coveted colourway with a host of desirable optional extras. Viewing available at our London showroom.
