Alpina works closely with BMW and their processes are integrated into BMW's production lines, thus Alpina is recognized by the German Ministry of Transport as an individual automobile manufacturer. This contrasts with other performance specialists who are aftermarket tuners. Alpina-built cars are branded and registered as Alpina instead of BMW, and an Alpina can be serviced at all BMW dealerships.

Distinctive features of Alpina vehicles are the fact that these models are literally hand-made. The production process switches between fine tuning the engine, delivering it to the BMW plant, marrying engine and body there, bringing it back to Alpina for interior upgrades with Alpina's specific components - all in a hand-made process that allows only limited production numbers.

This BMW Alpina (E63) B6S, which comes with a supporting certificate of authenticity - is a high performance coupe, which combines huge power and impressive pace with a great deal of practicality and refinement. Believed to be one of only six right-hand drive examples ever made, it would make a fantastic addition to any BMW or Alpina car collection.

Powered by a 4.4-litre supercharged V8, producing 530hp and 725NM of torque, this BMW Alpina B6S uses a supercharged V8, which was once the Worlds fastest production car for sale in 2008, capable of hitting a blistering 198mph. At 1,000rpm, just above idle, the V8 is already producing 300 Newton metres of torque coupled to the six-speed ZF switchtronic transmission. This B6S has many bespoke Alpina components that truly makes this vehicle special inside out.

This particular example is offered with low mileage and a highly desirable factory specification. The BMW Alpina B6S has recently had a full inspection II service to BMW specification, air conditioning re-gas, brake fluid, anti-freeze service and four new tyres.
